I’m so happy we have this place right around the corner from where we live. Best carne asada torta I’ve had in a while. My husband had the Carne asada fries, it was delicious as well. The agua de horchata is a 10/10. The SALSA! so delicious, the spiciness was perfect. Definitely coming back

Hole in the wall places to eat are our favorite. This place is absolutely delicious! I ordered a buche burrito, and hubby ordered a carnitas burrito. Both were amazing. I hope we return some day. It will not disappoint!cheers burritos are huge too. We barely ate half.

A friend told me this was the best "taco shop" in Scripps Ranch so I had to give it a try. The location is definitely authentic - but it could use a deep cleaning too. The grilled shrimp burrito was good but not great. Most of the flavor came from the sauce and salsa - the shrimp did not appear to be seasoned at all.

This is a small Mexican joint tucked away at the back of the Trader Joe's area on Mira mesa Blvd. near Scripps Ranch. Entry is after the Trader Joe's entry. You cannot directly enter from any the Trader joes mall. The food was really good. We tried the bean and cheese burrito and the Al pastor tacos with chips. The salsas were amazing. Definitely worth a try.

Pros The al pastor tacos are delicious Interior looks like a regular taco shop Customers who go there seems to be regulars and very friendly with the cook and cashier. It looks small business owner/famoly owned. Cons The fish burrito was mediocre. Parking lot is pretty small, but managed to find parking
